05 Dec We interviewed AG Stein. He mentioned he’s seen the compensation, how much money, Dr. Paulus will receive in the current contract in the sale to HCA. Can you share with us how much Dr. Paulus will get in the 1.5-billion dollar contract? Can you also send us any specific contract pages, from the HCA contract offer, that outlines Dr. Paulus’ role in the transition, as well as what he will receive.
No employee or Director of Mission Health will receive any proceeds from the sale. Under the terms of the Asset Purchase Agreement, all employees will receive the same compensation as today for one year, if invited by HCA to stay in their current roles. Dr. Paulus is no different. In addition, Mission Health will honor its current commitments to its employees, particularly those who may be negatively impacted by the transition to HCA Healthcare, and has set aside designated funds for that purpose. Mission’s severance obligations have not changed.
